Are you a communication professional with at least 5 years’ experience? We have a challenging opportunity in our Hyderabad office for the positions of Senior Project Manager.

Senior Project Manager - Information, Communication and Knowledge Management (Hyderabad)

The Communication Challenge

1. Internalize, articulate and help evolve the branding of ALC India through an integrated understanding of the communities, models, platforms, services and partner ecosystem that ALC India works with
2. Contribute to the execution of an Integrated Communication blueprint through appropriate campaigns and ongoing activities
3. Document models, best practices, good practices and success stories
4. Carry out field visits to create case studies, stories of change and programme outcomes
5. Develop an asset base (such as photos and videos) for communication requirements
6. Develop communication materials including brochures, presentations, fact sheets, blogs, posters, investment notes, videos, photo essays, presentations, press releases etc.
7. Identify, interact, engage and manage communications agencies (including digital, design, content, photography and film) to develop and produce marketing communication and material for internal and external communication
8. Co-ordinate with stakeholders for dissemination of information on broader aspects as well as programme/project achievements and learnings

The Documentation & Knowledge Management Challenge

1. Create and edit reports and proposals
2. Research (primary and secondary)
3. Generate articles, papers and other documents
4. Help develop an effective and user-friendly Knowledge Management systems

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

QUALIFICATION: Masters in Communications

EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years in working with a leading organization on livelihoods.

LANGUAGE: Proficiency in English, Telugu and other languages preferred are Marathi, Oriya, and Kannada.

1. Deep understanding and engagement with livelihoods/social sector issues
2. Passion to facilitate change and effective action
3. Ability to adapt and sensitivity to the physical hardships of marginalised India
4. Ability to relate and empathise with marginalised communities
5. Mature interpersonal skills
6. Time management skills
7. Enjoy working under pressure to meet deadlines
